Big Weekend Moves Before Home Opener

Here is a recap of what's gone down roster wise, lots of moves were made, some very tough. The Stamps depleted O-line was reinforced through a trade that saw Canadian offensive lineman Rob Lazeo and a 2009 conditional draft pick come from Saskatchewan in exchange for standout second year import RB Wes Cates.

The Stamps also acquired future considerations from the Montreal Alouettes in exchange for defensive back Coby Rhinehart who was an MVP last year.

The following players were also released on Saturday: WR J.R. Tolver, OL Mike Erickson, WR Greg Hetherington, DB Sean Manning, LB Rob Rodriguez (it appears Clark stays), DB Brandon Stewart, DB Sadrick Williams, WR David Bautista, OL Riley Clayton, DL Calvin Thibodeaux.
