Turns out JR Ruffing never really left town and even spent time visiting the team at practices. He's been signed to the practice roster amidst the concussion suffered by DB Collins in the game against Montreal. More interesting news is the release of Xavier Lee from the practice roster. As a fourth string QB the guy probably got misinformation about his role with the team. We're seeing a lot of rhetoric on the newswire from guys coming up to the CFL, expect to chill out on the practice roster for a week or two, and get into game action....of course that rarely happens. Not sure about Lee's circumstances so let's not speculate since assumptions make ASSes out of U and ME.
