Stampeders did what some thought wasn't going to happen, win in a game that meant nothing. BC Lions came into town to close out the CFL regular season with a lot on the line. If you're a BC owner you just lost tens of thousands of dollars by losing a home game against Saskatchewan. If you're Calgary, you don't really care, you wait to see who we'll play in two weeks time. Interesting notes in this game:
- Burris only one half
- Nealy a quarter and a bit with 3 rushing TDs and one pass...
- Proctor takes third string, does some interesting stuff, but most importantly pitches to Rambo who captured some YAK yards and solidified the top receiver yardage spot.
- Cornish rushes with some nice yards.
- Collins at safety missed some hits, threw some big hits, and made fun of Geroy Simon hardcore on his interception (doing the gay celebration on the hips).
- Rowell with his interception (read the Stamps blog) wasn't supposed to be on the play, but was supposed be on the play, ran into the play, didn't know the play, made an interception, didn't put on this helmet right, lost his helmet, ran down field without helmet, threw a hit, couldn't get up.
- Stamps win.
